The client's saying within this piece defined the imagery. He wanted a skull and coffin saying "Mr. Shoulda-Been"

I used the little shriveled legs to push the idea of the piece further, which also allowed me to put an interesting perspective on the skeleton. I also attempted to complement the idea with falling leaves. This color scheme is very indicative of the way I prefer working, with a couple brights with a lot of neutrals and muted tones to round out the color scheme.
