This is an older picture of this piece. A lot of work has since been done around it as the sleeve this is a part of has been completed. The idea behind this piece was that we would make the hanya face the singular element of this part of the sleeve, which would then be large enough to scare children. Several weeks later when my client came in for another session, he told me that the tattoo did indeed prompt a child to hide behind his mother.
